What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Joshua and their crew joined us for an early morning fall trip on Lake Saint Clair. We launched under partly cloudy skies with calm conditions on the Detroit River. The weather stayed cooperative most of the day until some late afternoon rain rolled in, but that didn't slow us down. This was our Extended Half Day Guided Muskellunge Fishing Trip with Chasing Trophies Charters.

With our gear rigged and ready, we focused our efforts using a combination of trolling, casting, and jigging techniques throughout the trip. Lake Saint Clair is prime musky territory, and these methods let us cover plenty of water while targeting different structure and depth zones. The variety of techniques kept everyone engaged and gave us multiple shots at connecting with these apex predators. We didn't stick a trophy on this run, but every cast and minute on the water was worth it. The crew stayed tight and worked hard right up until that afternoon rain moved in up north.

The late afternoon shower actually added some excitement to the day, and we wrapped things up with great memories and solid technique work under our belts. Joshua and their crew were a pleasure to fish with, and we covered some serious water in our pursuit of the elusive musky.
